James "Jay" Arthur Beaman

James Arthur Beaman July 6, 1942 - December 21, 2016 James Arthur Beaman, 74, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. His memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home. The Rev. Billy Toler will officiate. Jay is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Ann W. Beaman; his step-daughter, Angela W. Gossett and husband, Robert of Bailey; his step-son, Ken Williams and wife, Kathy of Rocky Mount; step-grandchildren, Shae Gossett, Lea Gossett, and Bryson Williams; his brother, Wayne Beaman and wife, Shirley of Fremont; and his brother-in-law, Wade Whaley of Grifton, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
