James Perry Matthews May 21, 1940 – December 7, 2018 James Perry Matthews, 78, of Wilson passed away Friday. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkwood, Wilson. James is survived by his daughters, Rhonda M. Jackson of Wilson and Angie M. Lane and husband, Larry of Wilson; step-son, Michael Baker and wife, Sara of Wilson; his grandchildren, Brittany Crook, Jordan Hinnant, Ali Aycock, Justin Jackson and Matthew Baker; great-grandchildren, Jalyn Crook, Brylie Crook and Mackenzie Aycock and his sisters, Dianne Pridgen of Wilson and Betty Davis of Stantonsburg.
