James Henry Radford

James Henry Radford February 27, 1948 – July 14, 2017 James Henry Radford, 69, of Stantonsburg passed away Friday. His funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stantonsburg Town Cemetery, Stantonsburg.  Pastor Jerry Nelson will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of his sister, Carolyn Edwards. Henry is survived by his sons, Danny Ray Radford of Rocky Mount, and James Allen Radford and wife, Gloria of Zebulon; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Carolyn Edwards and husband, Donny of Wilson, and his brother, David Radford and wife, Deborah of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Webb Radford; his parents, Henry Erastus Radford, and Ella Marlowe Radford, and his brothers, Rodney, Earl, William, and Charles Radford.
