James Atlas Skinner, Jr. October 5, 1945 – April 4, 2021 James “Jim” Atlas Skinner, Jr., 75 of Walstonburg passed away Sunday. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Terri Shelton Skinner; daughter, Corri McQuaid and husband, Steve of Raleigh; mother, Annie Price Skinner; brothers, John R. Skinner and wife, Mary, and Gary Skinner both of Wilson; sisters, Sharon Murray and husband, Rex of Wilson, Connie Robbins and husband, Marty of Wilson, and Glenda Waters and husband, Ronnie of Tarboro; nephews, John Skinner and wife, Kristen of Wilson, Kris Skinner and wife, Alysun of Wilson, and Walker Shelton of Saratoga; brother-in-law, Tim Shelton and wife, Joni of Saratoga; sister-in-law, Leslie Shelton of Pinehurst and his grand pups, Paisley and Copper. He was preceded in death by his father, James Skinner; in-laws, Grace Hardison and John Dow Shelton, and his brother-in-law, Larry Shelton.
