James Edward Webb, Jr. November 8, 1945 – March 9, 2015 James Edward Webb, Jr., 69, of Pinetops passed away Monday. His memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday in Pinetops Baptist Church, 710 W. Hamlet Street, Pinetops. The Rev. John Melancon will officiate. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed and thought of often. He served his country with honor and pride with the US Army. James is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Ernestine Cobb Webb of the home; his daughter, Elizabeth Webb Pollard and husband, Michael of Pinetops; his sons, Jamie Webb & wife, Angel of Snow Hill, Chris Cobb and wife, Tina of Rocky Mount and Tommy Webb and wife, Kristie of Morgantown, West Virginia; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Browne Hardison and step-father, Edward Bickett Hardison and his father, James Edward Webb.
