James Jeffrey Woodard, 56, of Wilson passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Rev. Rusty Russell will officiate. The service will be lived streamed at www.joyners.net.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, April 25, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

James is survived by his wife, Sue Woodard; daughters, Nicol Weinert and husband, Dave, and Brooke O’Boyle and husband, Joey; son, Austin Meredith and wife, Rebekah; grandchildren, JoJo, Nick, Chris, Cole , Teagan, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Macklin and Sonny; father, Frankie Woodard and wife, Janice; brother, John Woodard; sister, Christy Woodard; step-sisters, Robin Cuddington and husband, Tommy, and Sandy Hawley and husband, Dennis; aunt, Terry and husband, Lynn; niece, Michaela, and his cousin, Ron.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda “Snooky” Robins; paternal grandmother, Lois Davis, and his aunt, Jessie.
