Jane Barnes Poston October 19, 1937 – November 5, 2017 Jane Barnes Poston, 80, of Wilson joyfully entered eternal life on Sunday. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 700 Nash Street NE, Wilson. The Reverend Bill John Acosta-Escobar will officiate. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Charles Thomas “Tom” Poston of the home; her daughters, Ashley P. Farris and husband, Joe of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, B.J. Poston and wife, Amy Norris of Wilson, and Ellen Southerland and husband, Jimmy of Wilson; her granddaughters, Alex Lamm Layton and husband Kenny, Mary Farris, Gemma Farris; her grandsons, Gabriel Farris, Solomon Farris, Max Farris, and Isaac Farris, and her brother, Stancil Barnes of Tarboro and wife, Barbara. She was preceded in death by parents, Roy Lee Barnes and Alma Stancil Barnes.
