Janice Ann Brantley Watson May 9, 1929 – June 9, 2015 Janice Ann Brantley Watson, 86, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The family will receive friends Friday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Janice is survived by her children, Ronald R. Watson and wife, Louise of Wilson, Patsy Gardner and husband, Lee of Aurora, Illinois, and Jeff Watson and wife, Jill of Wilson; her granddaughters, Kelly Schlarb and husband, Rory, and Natalie Bunn and husband, Chris; her grandsons, Dustin Watson, Alex Watson, and Adam Watson; three great-grandsons, Hayden and Ashton Watson and Isaac Bunn; her twin sister, Jean Stone of Bailey and a number of nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Janie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Ruffin Watson; her parents, Bernard and Gertrude Liles Brantley; three brothers, Kermit Brantley, Cecil Brantley and Adolph Brantley and her sisters, Nannie Dew, Hilda Harper and Rachel Cockrell.
