Janice Knight High September 22, 1925 – April 18, 2015 Mary Janice Knight High, 89, of Wilson, formerly of Wilmington passed away Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Walling and the Rev. Johnny Branch will officiate. The family will receive friends 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service at the First Christian Church Parlor, 207 Tarboro Street N, Wilson and other times at 4802 St. Georges Drive, Wilson. Janice is survived by her daughters, Susan Branch and husband, Johnny of Greenville and Cathy Mount and husband, George of Wilson; her sons, Eddie High and John High both of Wilson; her grandchildren, Allyson Brann and husband, Jeremy, Jessica Branch, Joseph High, David High and Mary Lindsay Mount; her great-grandson, Carter Brann and brother, James E. Knight of Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Oscar High; her parents, Eugene and Maude Knight; her sister, Emily Knight and her brothers, Gene, Alan, John and Harry Knight.
