Janice Phillips Johnson

Janice Phillips Johnson, 77 of Fountain passed away Saturday.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment to follow in Varnell Family Cemetery, Hwy 124, Macclesfield.  Rev. Joe Price will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Blackjack Johnson and her parents, Richard and Velma Lee Phillips.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ruffin and husband, Clifton of Macclesfield; grandson, Matt Ruffin and wife, Kali of Macclesfield; great-granddaughter, Chloe Ruffin of Macclesfield; sister, Ann Letchworth and husband, Phil of Wilson; nephews, Mark Letchworth and wife, Amy, and Danny Letchworth and wife, Joy both of Wilson; great-niece, Katelyn Letchworth of Wilson; great-nephew, William “Bill” Letchworth of Wilson; her special friend, Thomas Webb and her “constant companion”, Smokey.
