Janice Marie Thorne Brock October 25, 1948 – November 26, 2019 Janice Marie Thorne Brock, 73 of Elm City passed away Tuesday. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 612 Vance Street NW, Wilson. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the church. Janice was registered nurse in several medical fields for many years. She was a member of Our Reeder Lutheran Church. Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Janice is survived by her daughter, Paula Hudson and husband, Timmy of Lucama; sons, Adam Brock and wife, Stephanie of Louisiana and Eric Brock and wife, Vicky of Sims; five granddaughters, one grandson; four great-grandchildren; sister Carmen Godette of Havelock and her brothers, Okey Thorne and Dwight Thorne and wife, Judy of Sims.
