Jason Matthew Worrell

Jason Matthew Worrell, 48 of Bailey passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Rev. Hal Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing along with an ice cold beer. Jason was a hardworking man who took pride in his ability to paint cars. He loved his family, but most of all loved his new granddaughter, Harper, she was his world.
Jason is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Worrell Hinton and husband, Robbie of Nashville; son, Brad Worrell of Bailey; granddaughter, Harper Hinton; father, Johnnie Worrell, Jr. and wife, Jean of Sims mother, Cheryl Worrell Pittman and husband, Greg of Kenly; grandmother, Melva Deans of Sims and his sister, Jennifer W. Sheppard of Wilson.
