Javis "Jay" Renfrow

Javis Renfrow October 28, 1940 – February 10, 2018 Javis “Jay” Renfrow, 77, of Wilson, formerly of Kenly passed away Saturday. His funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. LaVan Phillips and Rev. Wallace Renfrow will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Javis is survived by his wife, Shirley Lancaster Renfrow of the home; his step-daughters, Kimberly Baker and husband, Greg of Sims, and Dana Vick and husband, Rickie of Wilson; his step-grandchildren, Lindsey and Wesley Lamm, and Katie and Taylor Baker; his brother, Valton Renfrow and wife, Jaymerle of Clayton, and a niece, Kim Renfrow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Elsie Renfrow.
