Jean Hodges Brewer

Jean Hodges Brewer May 9, 1936 – September 23, 2017 Jean Hodges Brewer, 81, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Blvd West, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  The Rev. Joe Shakour will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Jean is survived by her sons, Bobby Brewer of Wilson, Noah Brewer of the home, and Joshua Brewer and wife, Leslie of Wilson; her granddaughter, Chrissy Strickland, and Michelle Batten; her grandsons, Dustin Henderson, Lee Henderson, Chris Brewer, Nicholas Brewer, and Travis Brewer, and her sister-in-law, Mary Hodges of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Brewer; her daughter, Pamela J. Brewer; parents, Edgar and Hettie Hodges, and four brothers.
