Jean Elizabeth Cahoon Lamm

Jean Elizabeth Cahoon Lamm, 81, of Wilson passed Saturday, April 12, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Redemption Church at New Hope, 5142 NC 58, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson.  Rev. Justin Deeter will officiate. 

The family will receive friends from 1 – 1:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Redemption Church at New Hope Church, Wilson.

Jean retired from Merck. She was a faithful servant to her Lord. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Jean is survived by her son, Ralph “Chip” Lamm and wife, Kelly of Wilson; daughters, Pam Massingill and husband, Charles of Bailey and Carol Canady and husband, James of Wilson; grandchildren, Stacey Temple, Matthew Canady, Phillip Canady, Amber Nordan, and Jerrica Hinson; great-grandchildren, Skyler Temple, Tayler Temple, and one on the way; sisters, Gloria Ralbovsky of Texas, and Debbie Gray of Fremont, and her brother, Clevie Norman of Pine Knoll Shores.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Jennings Lamm; granddaughter, Amanda Massingill and parents, Vernon Cahoon and Elizabeth Norman.
