Jean Howard Farmer

Jean Howard Farmer September 30, 1929 – March 26, 2018 Jean Howard Farmer, 88, of Bailey passed away Monday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at White Oak Hill FWB Church, Bailey. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Hal Jones, and the Rev. Timothy Deans. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at White Oak Hill FWB Church, 3967 W Hornes Church Road, Bailey, and other times at the home. Jean is survived by her daughters, Connie H. Sherrod of Bailey, and Susan H. Boykin of Rocky Mount; her son, Michael Howard of Bailey; granddaughters, Tracey Johnson and husband, Joe, Tammy Aycock, and Laury Rushing and husband, Jonathon; grandsons, Chris Sherrod and wife, Beth, Ben Howard and wife, Melissa, and Randy Howard and wife, Kelly; eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Howard, and Earl Farmer, her second husband, and great-granddaughter, Nicole Mitchell.
