Jean Cunningham Little

Jean Cunningham Little May 14, 1947 – October 11, 2019 Jean Cunningham Little, 72 of Wilson passed away Friday peacefully surrounded by her family. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor John Horrell will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Jean was a faithful member of Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Wilson. She was a retired special needs assistant with the public school. Jean was a wonderful lady who could brighten anyone’s day. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends and always Wilson’s Merle Girl. Jean is survived by her daughters, Tina Little and fiancé, Timothy of Hagerstown, Maryland and Sharon Allen and husband, Jimmy of Wilson; son, Milton Little, Jr. and wife, Anita of Wilson; grandchildren, Cameron Little and fiancé, Kara, Collin Little and Jessica, Jessie Mellott and fiancé , Ashley, Ariel Mellott and Joshua Allen; great-grandchildren, Addicus Little and Copeland Mellott and her brother, Ray Cunningham and wife, Myra of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis Hugh and Louise Mooring Cunningham.
