Jean Lindsay McDanolds Logan
February 1, 1949 – January 30, 2020
Beloved wife, mother and friend, Jean Lindsay McDanolds Logan, 70 of Wilson, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020. A farmer’s daughter that was selfless by nature, she was a stay-at-home mom and took under her wing anyone that entered her home and made them feel welcome and at peace. Her passions included sewing, painting, gardening, and cooking. She enjoyed taking drawing and painting classes at Wilson Community College, serving as a Dinner Angel for St. Timothy’s youth group, and supporting those she loved in any way she could.
Jean is survived by her husband, Pat Logan of the home; daughter, GiGi Logan of Knoxville, Tennessee and her nephew, Greg McDanolds of Culpeper, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Agnes McDanolds and her brother, Ralph “Skip” McDanolds, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 202 N Goldsboro Street S, Wilson. In celebration of her artistic nature and lifelong love of color, the family asks that those attending not wear black, but wear colors that give them joy.
