Jean W. Stott, 77, of Wilson passed away Saturday.  Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.  The Rev. Doug Radford will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Jean is survived by her husband, Guy V. Stott of the home; her daughters, Lisa S. Gammon and husband, Ronnie of Hillsborough and Sharon E. Walker and husband, Tim of Downingtown, PA; her son, Rev. Kevin Stott and wife, Sherry of Bratt, FL; her eight grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her sister, Gail W. Norris of Randleman; her brother, Earl Wilson and wife, Janice of Black Creek; her sister-in-law, Sylvia Wilson of Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Thelma Wilson and her brother, James Wilson. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at DaVita Dialysis Center, WilMed Hospice and Dr.  Al-Haidary for all they have done.  A special thank you to her care giver, Michelle Bryant, for all the love and support she has shown Jean.
