Jesse Gray Farmer, Sr.
September 28, 1939 - April 13, 2013

Jesse Gray -Buddy Boy- Farmer Sr., 73, of Stantonsburg went to be with his Lord, April 13, 2013 surrounded by his family.-Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the family cemetery on Stancil Town Road, Stantonsburg.-The Rev. Rex Edwards will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home of Mr. Farmer.

Buddy Boy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.-He will always be remembered with joy and heartfelt memories.-He served his country honorably with US Navy.

Buddy Boy is survived by his wife, Linda W. Farmer; his daughter, Angie Farmer and Mitch Whitley; his sons, Jesse -Bud- Farmer and Diane, and Thad Farmer-nd wife, Sissy all of Stantonsburg; his grandchildren, Vince, C.J., Chelsea, Aaron and Man all of Stantonsburg; his sister, Etta F. Rudicile of Asheville and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, John W. Farmer and Rosa Lee Farmer and his brothers, John Lee Farmer and James Ray -Skeeter- Farmer.

The family would like to thank 3HC Home Health and Hospice Care for all the support, compassion and love that was given to Buddy Boy during his time of need.-With their help the family was allowed to spend quality time and show their love to Buddy Boy.
