Jesse "J.C." Claybourne Joyner

Jesse Claybourne Joyner September 9, 1945 – February 26, 2016 Jesse Claybourne “J.C.”, 70, of Wilson passed away Friday. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and other times at the family home. J.C. was a loving person to his family and friends; he will be greatly missed and thought of often. He lost a courageous battle with ALS. J.C. has hauled his last load, his soul to heaven. J.C. is survived by his sisters, Brenda Joyner Deans of Bailey, Linda Joyner of Washington, Sherry Goff and husband, Rev. Wayne Goff of Wilson, and Elaine Joyner Perry and husband, Ronnie of Bailey; his brother, Doug Joyner of Bailey; daughter, Kim Davis of Dayton, Ohio; granddaughters, Whitney and Bailey Davis, and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Randolph Joyner and Hildred Elizabeth Joyner.
