Jimmy Earl Barnes March 14, 1937 – December 17, 2016 Jimmy Earl Barnes, 79, of Wilson passed away Saturday. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Jimmy is survived by his second wife, Patricia Ann Barnes of Wilson; daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Barnes of the home; his sons, David Wayne Barnes and wife, Jane of Wilson, and James Glenn Barnes and wife, Lisa of Windsor; step-son, Gerald Eugene Speight and wife, Tracie of Mocksville, and his sister, Alma Gray Duke of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Jeri Barnes; his daughters, Cynthia Carolyn Speight, and Martha Lynn Felton; his son, Edward Earl Barnes; his parents, Lewis and Virginia Barnes; three sisters, and one brother.
