Jimmy Earl Scott, Sr.

Jimmy Earl Scott, Sr., 74, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 29 at 7:30pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Entombment will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:00 am at Evergreen Memorial Park.  Bishop Marvin Wiggins will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 7:15 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Jimmy Scott, Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Wilson; grandson, Spencer Beamon, wife, Deanna and their children of Ayden; grandson, Brandon Scott and wife, Andrea; granddaughter, Shana Creech, husband, Terry and their children; grandson, Jacob Wilson, wife, Ashlie and their children; and sister, Sonya Stampler and husband, Bill of Youngsville.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Zura Mae Joyner Scott; parents, Paul Scott and Verda Davis Scott; sister, Paulette Williamson; grandson, Calob Dale Wilson; sister, Leslie Joyner; and granddaughter, Stacey Beamon.
