Jimmy Wayne Turner

Jimmy Wayne Turner, 69, passed away Thursday. His funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, with the family receiving friends immediately following. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Upper Black Creek Cemetery, Lucama. The Rev. Dr. DeWayne Eakes and Rev. Kelly Smart will officiate.
Jimmy was a loving a husband, father, pa, brother and a friend to all that knew him. He was dearly loved and will be remembered with memories that will warm the heart.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Wanda Fisher Turner of the home; his daughters, Lisa Turner Pearson of Lucama, and Wendy Turner Edwards of Macclesfield; his son, Jimmy Chad Turner and wife, Dana of Lucama; granddaughters, Cora Harper, and Amanda Flowers; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Flowers; great-grandsons, Malachi Keen, Logan Butts, Karmeron Flowers, and Jaxon Bjur; sister, Faye O’Daniel of Clayton, and his brothers, Mike Turner and wife, Connie, and Danny Turner and wife, LouAnn both of Lucama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ballard Lee Turner and Chloe Mae Bunn Turner, and his brother, Phil Turner.
