Joe Clim "J.C." Stallings

Joe Clim “J.C.” Stallings, 77 of Wilson passed away Friday.  Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening, July 31, 2023, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  Rev. Wayne Whitley will officate.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 5 – 6:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

J.C. was an avid Duke Blue Devil fan, and he loved cutting grass and riding his John Deere lawn mower.

J.C. is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Betty Ferrell Stallings; granddaughters, Brittany Stallings, and Reba Taylor Pridgen and husband, Danny; grandsons, Ethan Stallings, and Randy Len Taylor and his family; great-granddaughters, Emma Pridgen, and Natalie Pridgen; great grandson, Josiah Stallings and his brothers, Jerry Stallings of Wilson, and Earl Wilson of Black Creek.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Stallings, and his parents, Joe and Mae Stallings.
