John Michael “Mike” Bumgarner January 14, 1948 – October 28, 2017 John Michael “Mike” Bumgarner, 69, of Wilson passed away Saturday. A casual celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the home of Cheryl Bumgarner, 3704 Creekside Circle, Wilson, North Carolina 27896, on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (floating). Mike was born in Lincolnton, Lincoln County, North Carolina to Lewis and Elizabeth Bumgarner. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Mike is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bumgarner of the home; daughter, Lisa Bumgarner of Mebane; son, Scott Bumgarner and wife, Allyson of Wilson; granddaughters, Bailey and Claire Bumgarner of Wilson; grandson, Reid Bumgarner of Wilson; brothers, Don Bumgarner and wife, Darlene of Wilson and Tony Bumgarner and wife, Debbie of Wade.
