John Roger Bradley, Jr. October 24, 1966 – January 8, 2019 AUSTRALIA – John R. Bradley Jr. “Jack”, 52, passed away at his home in New South Wales, Australia on January 8, 2019. Jack was born and raised in Wilson and was a 1985 graduate of Fike High School. He loved to experience all that life had to offer. He lived in numerous places including Raleigh, Charlotte, and Atlanta. But, Jack’s “home away from home” was Sydney. He visited once, fell in love with the country, and decided that’s where he wanted to be. Jack lived in Sydney for seventeen years. He is survived by his mother, Jackie Barnes and husband, Grady; his sister, Gina Bradley Childress and husband, Todd; nephews, Brad and Jordan Childress; aunt, Susan Jordan Oakley, all of Wilson; uncles Bill Jordan of Philadelphia and Jimmy Bradley and wife, Tiny of Durham; along with numerous cousins, extended family and friends. He is also survived by his beloved rescue dog, Copa. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Bradley; maternal grandparents, Junebug and Blanche Jordan and paternal grandparents, James and Lib Bradley, all of Wilson. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. All other times the family will receive friends at 301 Lafayette Drive.
