Johnnie Earl Morgan, 56, of Lucama passed away Sunday.   Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner's Funeral Home.   Interment will follow in Bailey cemetery.   The Rev. Reuben Batchelor will officiate.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at 7612 Spring Hill Church Rd.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Shelly Pierce Morgan of Lucama; his mother, Ethel Taylor Morgan of Wilson; his daughter, Sylvia Morgan Prince of Middlesex; his sons, Daniel Ray Morgan and Matthew Pierce of Lucama, his five step-children; eight grand-children; and his sisters, Annie Mae Coley, Barbara Boykin and Brenda Page of Bailey; and his brother Jimmie Morgan of Lillington.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vannie Morgan; his sisters, Shirley Morgan and Virginia Bissette; and his brothers Danny Morgan and Donald Morgan.
