Johnny Ray Jobe
February 23, 1961 – April 21, 2017
Johnny Ray Jobe, 56, of Wilson passed away Friday. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bailey Baptist Church, 6646 Deans Street, Bailey. The Rev. Jim Hales, Rev. Ed Creech, and Rev. Darrel Davis will officiate.
Johnny is survived by his daughters, Crystal Selvidge of Bailey, and Brandilyn Jobe of Middlesex; his sons, Christopher “Bug” Jobe of Rocky Mount, Ryan Baker and wife, Ashley of Middlesex and Johnny Ray Jobe, Jr. of Wilson; granddaughters, Emma Jobe, Paisley Baker, Hayden Baker, LeAnna Jobe, and Kerstyn Baker; his grandson, James Selvidge III; brother, Larry Jobe of Hope Mills; sister-in-law, Robin Dowdy of Chesapeake, Virginia; brothers-in-law, Daryl Scott and wife, Betty of Bailey, and Dave Scott of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his niece, April Jobe of Bunn, and nephew, Doug Jobe of Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tamera Jobe, and his parents, John T. Jobe and Daphne Whitley Jobe.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials to be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home, PO Box 425, Wilson, North Carolina 27894, to help with end of life expenses.
