Jonathan Mark Barnes

Jonathan Mark Barnes, 47, of Lucama, passed away Wednesday. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Patsy Woodard will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Peggy Best Barnes of the home; sister, Angie Barnes of Zebulon and his brother, Roy A. Barnes, Jr. of Chantilly Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Alvin Barnes, Sr. and his brother, Ronnie Gene Barnes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Jonathan’s name to Joyner’s Funeral Home for end-of-life expenses or to Mulligans Fore Kids, P.O. Box 3413, Wilson, North Carolina, 27895.
