Joseph Radford Allen, Sr. November 26, 1924 – May 11, 2017 Joseph Radford “Joe” Allen, Sr., 92, of Wilson passed away Thursday. His funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  A private graveside will be held. The Rev. LaVon Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home, 2500 St. Christopher Circle, Unit 1, Wilson. Joe is survived by his daughter, Diane Allen Mitchell and husband, Tommy of Sims; his sons, Joseph R. “Joey” Allen, Jr. of Wilmington, and Trent Allen and wife, Theresa of Wilson; granddaughter, Kim Fitzgerald of Pinehurst; grandson, Harlee Allen of Wilson; great-granddaughter, Chloe Fitzgerald of Pinehurst; great-grandson, John Fitzgerald of Pinehurst; step-granddaughter, Deana Godwin of Raleigh, and step-greatgrandsons, Greyson, Cameron, and Ethan.
