Joseph "Joe" Edward Brown

Joseph “Joe” Edward Brown, 77, of Bailey passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Pastor Pam Denton will officiate.

 The family will receive friends Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the residence.

 Joe’s family was the love of his life. He loved Chevrolet trucks, dump trucks, and country music. He was an avid racing fan and huge Western movies fan. Joe was dearly loved and will be greatly missed with wonderful memories. 

 Joe is survived by his wife, Joyce Brown of the home; sons, Kenny Brown and wife, Kim of Bailey, Nickey Brown of the home; grandsons, Zack Watson and, Kim of Zebulon, Dylan Womble of Bailey; great-grandson, Dawson Wayne Watson, his sister, Helen Driver and husband, Bobby of Middlesex.

 He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanie Nichole Brown and son, Johnny Wayne Brown, his parents, Jim and Velma Brown, a brother, a sister.
