Joyce Anne Baker June 29, 1938 – October 10, 2017 Joyce Anne Baker, 79, of Wilson, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, passed away Tuesday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. Family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. Saturday prior to service. She was employed with First Citizens Bank for 34 years. Joyce is survived by her son, Cleve Baker and wife, Sharon of Roanoke Rapids; grandson Jesse Warren Player Baker and wife, Traci of Chesapeake, Virginia granddaughters, Sarah Christian Baker and fiancé Richard Chandler of Louisville, Kentucky and Alison Lyndi Baker and fiancé Dane Kuroski of Roanoke Rapids; sisters, Jesse Lou White of Greenville, Hazel Bissette of Wilson and Jean Hamm and husband, Edgar of Wilson; brother, Archie Bennett and wife, Dot of Kinston; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Baker; great-grandsons, Sean Baker, Bennett Baker and Tristan Balenger.
