Joyce Rose Barfield May 25, 1937 – March 18, 2018 Joyce Rose Barfield, 80, of Bailey passed away Sunday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Wanda Moore of Wilson; sons, Jason Barfield of Goldsboro, Ronald Barfield of Wilson, Randall Barfield of Pikeville, and James Barfield, Jr. of Bailey; sisters, Dorothy Dorsey of Wilson and Linda Perry of Elm City, and her brother, Robert Hayes of Farmville. She was preceded in death her husband, James Barfield; daughter, Barbara Ann Barfield; son, Jerry Barfield; sisters, Betty Lou Blackman, and Pauline Carmondy, and her brother, Tony Hayes.
