Joyce Winborne Deans February 13, 1934 – October 26, 2019 Joyce Winborne Deans, 85, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Joyce is survived by her husband, Bobby Deans of the home; daughter, Debbie D. Prickett and husband, Billy of Buckhorn; sons, Larry Deans and wife, Kim of Wilson and Randy Deans of Buckhorn and friend, Sallie Jo; grandchildren, Nelson Deans and Caroline Prickett; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Deans and Lucas Deans; sisters, Geraline Dail of Wilson, Liz Freeman of Greenville, Janette Fulghum of Snow Hill and Linda Daniel of Wilson and her brothers, Donald “Stumpy” Winborne of Sims and Frederick Winborne of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Winborne and Daisy Morris Winborne.
