Joyce N. Hinton

  Joyce N. Hinton March 31, 1929 – June 20, 2019 Joyce N. Hinton, 90, of Wilson passed away at her home Thursday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Scott Sauls will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, North Carolina and other times at the home of Julia and Jeff Harold. Joyce was a member of Missionary Baptist Church since she was a child. She graduated class of 1947 from Charles L. Coon High School. She dedicated many years of service to the Women of the Moose and the Loyal Fraternity. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Tammy H. West and husband, Charles and Julia H. Harold and husband, Jeff, all of Wilson; grandchildren, Crystal Whitley and husband, John, Reed Harold, Tanner Harold, Scott Harold and Morgan Harold and great-grandson, Conner Whitley. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Hinton; twelve brothers and sisters; and a special friend, James Lambert.
