Joyce Snipes Watson

Joyce Snipes Watson, 85, of Hampstead, passed away Wednesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Rev. Steve Strickland will officiate.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Becky Crook Allen and husband, Jimmy; granddaughters, Summer Allen and Aspen Allen; grandsons, Grant Allen, Dustin Crook and wife, Mary Beth, Bradley Watson and wife, Ashley; great granddaughters, Brylie Crook and Jalyn Crook; great grandson, Uriah Watson as well as several loving nieces and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Clifton “Cliff” Watson; parents, Charlie and Pattie Snipes; son, Bobby Crook and sisters, Elsie Snipes Dawson and Dorothy Snipes Strickland.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Joyce’s name to Grace Baptist Church, 202 Kincaid Avenue N, Wilson, North Carolina, 27893.
