Floyd -Lil- Ray- Davis, Jr., 26 of Wilson passed away Tuesday.-Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in Marsh Swamp Original FWB Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday, immediately following the service at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home.

-Lil- Ray- was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all that knew him.-He loved hunting and fishing.-He had a very giving and compassionate heart.-/p>

-Lil- Ray- is survived by his parents, Ray and Sharron Askew Davis of Wilson; his sister, Nicole and brother-in-law, Matthew Cox; his niece, Mackenzie Cox and nephew, Travis Cox all of Richlands; his paternal grandparents, Floyd and Doris Davis of Wilson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Irene Askew.
