Juanita Eskridge Turner December 2, 1918 – July 24, 2015er Juanita Eskridge Turner, 96, of Wilson passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 12 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Barbara Turner of the home; her son, James M. Turner and wife, Jean of Fairfax Station, Virginia; her granddaughters, Stacey Turner and husband, Bryan of Annapolis, Maryland and Terri Smith and husband, Shannon of Marshall, Virginia; her grandson, Jamie Turner and wife, Sue of Haymarket, Virginia and her seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aaron, Olivia, Brooke, Sam, Davis and Leo. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marvin Turner, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in Juanita’s honor to the American Heart Society, c/o Ms. Phyllis Babb, 1108 Windermere Drive, Wilson, NC 27896.
