Judith "Judy" Williamson Fulghum

Judith “Judy” Williamson Fulghum, 75, of the Rock Ridge Community passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Marsh Swamp OFWB Church, 6664 Rock Ridge School Road, Sims. Interment will follow in Marsh Swamp OFWB Church Cemetery, Sims. Rev. Ray Wells and Rev. Daniel Vester will officiate. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the residence. 

Judy served her Lord faithfully and was a life-long member of Marsh Swamp OFWB Church. She loved to travel and loved all animals, especially birds. Judy loved her family to the fullest. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and thought of often with happy memories.

 Judy is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Larry Fulghum of the home; daughter, Heather Fulghum and Paul of Clayton; son, Casey Fulghum of Rock Ridge; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Esther Williamson; sister, Joyce Davis, and her brother, Gerald Williamson.
