Judith -Judy- Sawyer Mercer, 67, of Wilson passed away Monday.-Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.-The Rev. Rusty Russell and the Rev. Brian Tippett will officiate.

The family will receive friends 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

Judy is survived by her husband, Claude Mercer of the home; daughter, Katrina Goff of Wilson; sons, Brian Bass and wife, Shantia of Elm City and Robin Mercer and wife, Rita of Elm City; grandchildren, Madison and Camden Bass, Chad and Janna Mercer; sister, Janice Turner of Fort Mitchell, Alabama and brother, Dennis Sawyer and wife, Debra of Wilson.
