Judith Nell Miller Boykin
November 15, 1940 – September 15, 2021
Judith Nell Miller Boykin, 80 of Wilson passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Rev. Brian Tippet and Donald Walston will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the residence.
Nell is survived by her husband, James William “Billy” Boykin of the home; children, Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Erickson and husband, David of Spring Hope, David Mark Hite and wife, Wanda of Wake Forest, Melissa Ann “Mysi” Fortenbery and husband, Jay of Edenton, Elizabeth Anna “Beth” Wolfe of Louisburg, Andrew Lane “Andy” Hite and wife, Christine of Schenectady, New York and Jaymi Lee Mitchell of Greenville; grandchildren, Holley, Wendy, Lauren, Philip, Joshua, Skye, Jacob, Miles, Jenifer and Luke; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Scott, Dustin, and Katie; great-great grandchildren, Bentley and Jacob; sisters, Patricia Kiker of Salisbury and Debbie Edgerton of Asheville; brothers, Clark Miller of Lenoir, and James Miller of Laurel Springs, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Marie Miller; sisters, Loretta Lee and Dolly Craven, and three nephews.
