Judith Moore Watson
September 22, 1938 – November 9, 2015
Judith “Judie” Moore Watson, 77, of Wilson went to be with her Lord on Monday. Her funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Jerry Nelson and the Rev. RL Downing will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Park, Wilson.
Judie served her Lord and was a member of the Westmoreland church, Wilson Chapter of National Federation of the Blind, Support Group of the Blind, Wilson Advocacy Committee of the Blind and the Wilson Evening Lions Club. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, step-grandmother, and a friend to all that knew her.
Judie is survived by her sons, Keith Watson and wife, Amy, and Mark Watson and girlfriend, Lauren Hopper; her grandchildren, Brandon Watson, Noah Watson, and Addison Watson; step-grandchildren, Leah Cox, Rachel Cox, and Natalie Cox; her great-grandchild, Ava Grace, and brother, Charles E. Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie H. Watson; her parents, Charles W. Moore and Gladys Stone Moore, and her sister, Wanda Moore Wilder.
