Julia Ann Taylor Bissette

Julia Ann Taylor Bissette December 14, 1934 – February 25, 2018 Julia Ann Taylor Bissette, 83, of Middlesex, formerly of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The Rev. David Barnes and Rev. Joel Story will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening prior to the service from 6 – 6:45 p.m. and following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of daughter, Becky. After thirty years of devoted service, Ann retired from the North Carolina School of Deaf, as a house parent. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to all that knew her. Ann will be dearly missed and was greatly loved. Ann is survived by her daughter, Becky B. Lewis and husband, Lu Harvey of Middlesex; grandson, Andrew Lewis and wife, Jenna, and great-granddaughter, Scarlett of Bailey, and grandson, Taylor Lewis of Middlesex, and friend, Kristen Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Purvis Bissette.
