Julia Faye Moos

Julia Faye Moos, 79, of Wilson passed away Monday. Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, the family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Faye was a very special social lady who enjoyed dancing, gardening, and her family and friends. She was active at the senior center, the YMCA and many different social and community groups. Faye was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Donna Easterly of Wilson; sons, Rev. Steve Strickland and wife, Holly of Lucama and Tracy Strickland and wife, Lynn of Macclesfield; brother, Davis Wheeler and wife, Brenda of Elm City; grandchildren, Ashley Easterly of Wilson, Josh Easterly and wife, Brittany of Macclesfield, Rosie Strickland of Lucama, Zack Strickland and wife, Andrea of Pinehurst, Casey Strickland of Knightdale, Jake Strickland of Charlotte and Sam Strickland and wife, Whitney of Macclesfield; great-grandchildren, Peyton Easterly, Nolan Easterly, Zeke Strickland, Kelsey Strickland, Matt Strickland and Eli Strickland; step-daughters, Adrienne, Donna and Kirsten; Faye’s special friend, Glen Gardner; nephew, Bryant Wheeler and wife, Kara; great nephew, Gavin Wheeler and great niece, Karys Wheeler
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Moos and her parents, Bryant and Flossie Davis Wheeler.
