Junie E. Godwin Davis, 90, of Spring Hope, formerly of Bailey passed away Saturday.  Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bailey Town Cemetery.  The Rev. Ed Toler will officiate. The family will receive friends 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Junie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Davis Carroll and husband, Billy of Knightdale and Joyce Davis Flora and husband, Ray of Spring Hope; her granddaughters, Beth Carroll and husband, Joe Davis of Raleigh and Denise P. Jordan and husband, Chad of Spring Hope; her grandsons, Scottie Davis and Michael Davis; her great-granddaughters, Taylor, Tristyn and Taryn Jordan of Spring Hope; her sister, Mary Lee Bissette and husband, Alfice of Kenly; her sister-in-law, Jean B. Godwin of Bailey and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davis; her son, Robert Lynwood Davis; her parents, Oris and Mattie Lamm Godwin; her sisters, Lois Boykin, Kathleen Johnson and Loyale Bunn and her brother, Henry Godwin.
