Katherine Neville Brantley

Katherine Neville Brantley June 9, 1935 – January 17, 2021 Katherine Neville Brantley, 85 of Wilson passed away on Sunday. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Spring Hope. The family will receive family and friends Wednesday afternoon from 1-1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Katherine was born in Enfield and raised in Spring Hope. She retired from Wilson Medical Center and later worked for Parkwood Village and The Landing. Katherine was also a longtime member of the Mensa Society. Katherine enjoyed reading, the beach, cake decorating, and spending time with her dog, Czar. Katherine is survived by her daughter, Kathy Brantley of Durham; son Chris Brantley and wife, Joyce of Parker Colorado; brother, Gus Neville and wife, Nancy of Chapel Hill; grandsons, Mark Brantley of Charlotte, and Greg Brantley of Omaha, Nebraska; granddaughter, Laura Brantley of Denver, Colorado, and special companion, Czar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus Neville and Lela Davenport Neville; son, Kenneth Brantley M.D., and brother, John Neville.
