Kathy Speight Eatmon

Katherine “Kathy” Speight Eatmon, 58 of Wilson passed away Friday. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  Rev. Shawn Garrnett will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1 – 2 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, and other times at the home.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and a friend to all who knew her.  She loved her church and her church family.  Kathy lived the farming life and enjoyed to fish and spending time with her family and grandchildren.  Kathy was a marvelous friend and will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Scott Eatmon; daughter, Amy Wiggs and husband, Samuel; son, Nicholas Eatmon and wife, Heather; granddaughter, Destiny Wiggs; grandson, Brenden Eatmon, and her parents, Margaret and Eugene Speight, and Sister, Becky Edwards and Husband, Sam.
