Katie Elizabeth Rodriguez October 20, 1945 – July 20, 2018 Katie Elizabeth Rodriguez, 72, of Wilson passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Hagan will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Katie is survived by her daughters, Ernestine Heath of Black Creek, Camia Mayo of Wilson, and Billie Jean Bunn of Wilson; her son, Billy Wayne Bunn of Wilson; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Davis of Black Creek and Linda Whitley of Wilson, and her brother, James Wilkins of Snow Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Katie and Ernest Wilkins; sister, Juanita Cook and her brother, Billy Wilkins. Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
