Kendall Thomas Nichols

Kendall Thomas Nichols, 59, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 17.   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 3:00 pm at Marsh Swamp Original FWB Church, 6664 Rock Ridge School Road, Sims.  Interment will immediately follow at the Marsh Swamp Church Cemetery.  Reverend Ray Wells and Reverend Daniel Vester will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 20 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Kendall was a graduate of James B. Hunt High School and NC State Agricultural Institute.  He was also a long-time, faithful member of Marsh Swamp Original FWB Church and the Wilson County Young Farmers Association.

Kendall is survived by his loving wife, Milly Sexton Glover Nichols of the home; son, Garrett Glover of Chicago; mother, Janet S. Nichols of Sims; sister, Janna Hinnant and husband, Johnny of Sims; niece, Logan Hinnant of Sims; nephew, John Hinnant of Sims; special sister, Von Sexton of Wilson; aunts, Barbara Link of Wilson and Emogene Boyette of Smithfield; beloved furbabies, Molly, Copper, and Buster; and several extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Kendall was preceded in death by his father, Billy T. Nichols.
